With our programs we help between 1.800 to 2.000 families yearly. We grant families the possibility to stay close to each other and the medical care they need. We offer a space that creates a living-room ambiance within the hospital so they can relax, catch their breath and re-energize. Our space includes a multi functional area for kids, an ample living room and modern kitchen for families, laundry facilities plus 3 bedrooms for parents to stay in.
Our programs and services are not limited to the hospital walls, however. Our reach further extends to families whose children receive outpatient care as well as addressing other (non-medical) challenges that parents of severely ill children face.
The Ronald McDonald Family Room provides a welcoming homelike environment for families, just steps away from their child in the hospital. Any family with a child receiving treatment, whether hospitalized patients or outpatients, is eligible to use the Ronald McDonald Family Room facilities. Registration is required and Ronald McDonald House Charities house rules and Curaçao Medical Center house and admittance rules apply.
